In 1997, 3 Step IT was a start-up business set
up to help its customers plan and manage a
regular refresh of PCs and laptops. While the

Our remarketing team handles customers’
used devices in our logistics centres, securely
erasing their data, after which we refurbish
them for resale. We succeed in reselling
97% of returned devices, with the remainder,
damaged beyond economic value, recycled
using specialist recycling partners. As Product
Life Extension specialists, remarketing
realises the residual value that helps to make
lease payments affordable.
When we sell a reconditioned device to a
third party, the responsibility for sustainable
recycling moves on. To ensure eventual
disposal is performed responsibly, 3 Step IT
develops its refurbished equipment trading
channel to sell into countries with reliable
e-waste collection and disposal programs.
We have subsidiaries in Denmark, Estonia,
Singapore, Sweden and the United Kingdom
and logistics centres handling the used devices
in Finland, Malaysia, Norway, Sweden and the

asset tools help to track and maintain devices in
use. Then, when they are refreshed, we refurbish
returned devices and give them a second life.
