The inaugural
AROUND CAMPUS
Fine Arts
Fest,
underwritten
by the ULS
Foundation,
was celebrated
on April 2.
Student work
was on display
and the walls
and courtyard
were filled
with art from
kindergarten
through 12th
grade! Music
was provided
by ULS student
performers and
students and
parents enjoyed
the day with
kids’ activities, a
maker’s market
where student
art was
available for
purchase, and
food and drinks
from City Slice
and Kona Ice.
CUBS GOT
TALENT
is in its 5th year,
with 6th - 12th
grade students
competing in
a variety of
categories:
singing, playing
instruments,
dance and
movement,
comedy/drama,
and more!
Students were
judged by a
panel of local
professional
performers.
Finalists were
able to perform
for family and
friends during
the big show on
March 30th and
winners from
every category
were announced!

Second Graders culminated their GO USA unit with a Wax
Museum where students became famous Americans who
have made an impact on our country through time. Parents
were invited as students brought the wax figures to life and
learned about numerous notable individuals who have helped
to shape our country.

students had the opportunity
to learn real-world business
management principles by
local business owner and
entrepreneur Jerell Thomas,
President of Window World
and Chris Peters, CFO,
and forensic accountant
also of Window World. Mr.
Peters gave an engaging,
interactive presentation
about the importance of
a business plan, business
resources, and technology
advancements that are
helping push forward
companies and be more
effective in their processes.
