trust and value them for their ability
to cut through the noise. News that is

trust is there. TheyÕve earned it.
Podcasts are a wonderful source of
information, entertainment and education. They are a fantastic companion
on a walk, car ride or during some
downtime. Whatever your interests,
thereÕs a podcast for that. Business,
technology, gossip.. itÕs all out there.
ThereÕs a tremendous sense of fulfillment in listening and learning while
simultaneously completing a task. I
personally recommend popping your
AirPods in and tuning in while getting
whatever you must get done. Multitasking is something most of us excel
in.
Staying connected means many
different things. But it doesnÕt mean
being on your phone, iPad or laptop
all the time. Remember: Connecting
means connecting with people. Experiencing life in real time. NOT virtual
time. ThereÕs a place for that. Time
spent engaging with a screen is a substitute for getting out there and being
amidst people in the flesh. Zoom,

immediately become far more engaged
with everything. Podcasts, by the way,
are obviously about listening. I think
thatÕs one great reason to incorporate
them into the mix. Give your eyes a
break and let your imagination take
over.

ÒMotivation comes from working
on things we care about. It also
comes from working with people we
care aboutÒ. Ñ Sheryl Sandberg

of fear and loathing (sometimes of
people). When we long to feel positive and invigorated by people, places
and things, the best antidote is to seek
out the work, places, experiences and
people who heighten our sense of
connection. Learning to take a break
from doomscrolling, instagram or
whatever you might do to scratch the
urge to connect, is not only healthy but
necessary to maintain a sense of wellbeing. Too much time on our devices
prevents us from being fully present.
Being an explorer will be easy
for you. YouÕre experienced. Having
the best information for any adventure means utilizing your skills to
