Cub Roar Spring Summer 23 - Flipbook - Page 52
The
University Laboratory School
Foundation welcomed more
than 1,200 grandparents and
grandfriends December 19 to a production
of The Grammy’s, featuring Grammy-winning
songs spanning many decades and celebrating
our grandparents. Grandparents enjoyed K-5
performances directed by elementary music
teacher Margaret Fowler Milam ’93, assisted by
Dana Lux, secondary choir instructor, and parent
Lacie Templet who volunteered as production
lead. A Facebook live stream was provided for
grandparents unable to attend.
Grandparents and grandfriends were greeted
by volunteers, gifts, and refreshments.
Grandparent and Senior Director of
Development, Mila Sexton, CFRE, welcomed
everyone to the event while Director Kevin
George and Elementary Principal Christa Leon
kicked off the program participating as emcees.
