Class of 2024 Inducted as Seniors
The Senior Induction Ceremony was held on May 12 for the Class of 2024. As part of the induction, each
student was presented with a class pin that will be worn at their commencement next May. Students were
also presented their class rings, many from U-High legacy families. ULS Secondary Principal Frank Rusciano
introduced the students as seniors for the 2023-24 school year. The ceremony was held at the LSU Cox
Academic Center for Student Athletes.
Senior Walkout and Crawfish Boil
The Class of 2023 celebrated with a final “walk-out” through the halls of U-High on
May 12. Grades K-11, faculty, staff, and senior parents cheered and congratulated
the seniors as they walked each memory filled area of the school. After the walkout, the seniors gathered in the old gym and enjoyed a crawfish boil in their honor.
The crawfish was catered by Mitch Hopkins, Class of 2008, owner of Crawfish on
the Geaux. The seniors were also treated to snowballs. We congratulate and send
best wishes to our newest alumni, the Class of 2023.
