Rhonda Loy, and Rolfe McCollister ‘73 for their
service as board members. Each served with
dedication to our mission and determination
while distinguishing themselves as judicious
stewards. With great appreciation, I thank
Andy Blumberg ’98, immediate past chair. His
steadfast service to our Board and its mission
have made a difference in countless ways. I
am excited to welcome six new ULSF Board
members: Alex Byo, Kelley Heroman Buzzell ’00,
Perry Daniel, Ashley Granger, Trent Rives ’97,
and Jenny Lanier Ruggiero ‘04. Thank you for
your commitment to serve! The 2023-24 slate
of officers is Tracy Rutledge ’95, chair; Robin
Toups, immediate past chair; Elizabeth Bollinger
Kogos, MD ’00, vice chair; Scotty Chabert,
secretary; and Jeff Morton ‘96, treasurer.
Please join me in thanking each of these
individuals for their service and for those who
have made recent commitments to serve. I can’t
wait to see what bold steps we continue to take
together.
The Cub Family extends our deepest love and
sympathy for Lee Griffin and his family. We
honor Lee by continuing his legacy of service,
excellence, and philanthropy. Lee Griffin was
an amazing friend and mentor. We will miss our
leader, board member, and champion.
To the Class of 2023, our community wraps its
arms around you. The Cub community shows up
for each other in meaningful ways, and I hope
that each of you feels that love and support
as you navigate tremendous grief. We stand
alongside you in your journey and will continue
to remember and honor Cameron Robbins ’23.
Once a Cub, always a Cub.
Each of you supports ULS in ways that are
the right fit for you, and we are tremendously
grateful. Our cover story will be a cherished
reminder of just how unique ULS is and of the
lifelong connections built here.
