Should you want to close the resource before
it is published, click ‘auto save and close’.

2. Video times
Cropping the video
At this stage, you can crop the video if you want. This is very useful if you are using authentic
materials from YouTube, such as news items or a song. It is better to keep the video short, or even
split it in to two parts, than to have a very long transcript.
Move the red cursors on either end to shorten the video.
You can fine tune your
editing by clicking on -1
to move the start back
one second, -.1 to move
the start back one tenth

To advance the video more quickly, click and hold the button ‘Hold to auto-advance.’ (I find it easier
to simply click anywhere you want on the red line.)
When you are happy with the length of your video, or if you do not want to change anything, click
‘Next.’
