4. Recording a Student Response
This section explains how your students will record their responses. Above the record screen
there are two important features.
On the left is an overview of the topic and the prompt questions.
On the right is the “sticky note” feature. This allows students to post memos/ vocabulary/ ideas/
useful grammar etc. This sticky note will be visible to the student throughout the recording, but
will NOT be viewable to the teacher.
To the right of the record button is the
EFFECTS section. These allow students to:
• Add a filter (including black and white,
pixelated and many more).
• Add text to the recording (useful for
consolidating vocabulary).
• Add ink (this allows students to draw on
screen).
• Add a board (this allows a split screen
function that students can use to make
micro presentations).
• Add stickers (emoji, accessories etc.).
• Add a photo (great for personalizing content and using a ‘show and tell’ approach).
• Add a frame (more decoration options).
