7. You are ready to record
Click ‘record’ read the ‘notes,’ go to the next slide by clicking on the arrow and click on ‘stop’
when you are finished.
You can record each slide separately by clicking ‘record,’ reading the text displayed in ‘notes,’
then clicking ‘stop’. You can listen back by clicking ‘replay’ and do it again if you want.
Recording over what you just did will erase the previous recording.
I find recording each slide separately really time consuming. I would advise trying to record
the whole video in one go by clicking ‘record’ and by reading the text displayed on each slide;
just navigate the slides with the arrows on the sides.
If you make a mistake, you do not have to start from the beginning. - just record the slide in
question one more time.
You can record over what you did or, to erase all the recordings or parts of it, click on the X:
Be confident! Have a go and start recording!
Once you are happy with the recording, close the screen to go back to your PowerPoint. You are
ready to save it as a video.
8. Click on ‘FILE’ Export Create video. Choose your settings (I tend to leave the settings as
they are: 1080 p and ‘use recorded timings and narration.‘Click on ‘create video.’ Save the video
on your computer.
