Dr. Kai Jackson Issa
Dr. Kai Jackson Issa is a writer and published children’s
book author who has taught writing and
literature at several colleges, including the New School
for Social Research, Emory University
and Spelman College. Currently, she serves as an academic, Pre-Law and Prestigious
Scholarships Advisor at Agnes Scott College in Decatur,
Georgia. Representing Chicago in the 1980’s, she was a
national ACT-SO winner in the Essay and Playwriting
categories for two years..
Ronnette Smith
She is a former ACT-SO student contestant, and a
proud graduate of an HBCU - Clark Atlanta University
(Atlanta, GA) and has a Master’s in Science from John
Brown University (Siloam Springs, AR). She has led
record-breaking fundraising efforts for the Metropolitan
Atlanta Chamber of Commerce. Ronnette worked in
leading Fortune 500 corporations for over 25 years. She
is an author of a poetry and prose devotional & journal
