Education centres
PPLI partnered with Wexford Education Centre for a digital technology workshop for language teachers.
Teachers were invited to discover new tools which they could use in the classroom or online. The webinar was
accompanied by tutorials from the PPLI website (https://ppli.ie/teaching-and-learning/digital-technologiesand-mfl/?gresource=digital-technologies-tutorials/)

TY Tutorials
New TY beginners' resources were added for Chinese, Korean and Russian. They contain a selection of tasks,
including a topic overview, a task description and learning outcomes. https://ppli.ie/ty-modules-forbeginners/
Spanish Language Challenge
Following on from the Languages Connect Santander ‘Spanish Language Challenge’ video – an ideal stimulus
to develop language awareness and intercultural understanding – a booklet of accompanying teaching and
learning ideas and resources was produced. The activities, available at https://ppli.ie/spanish-languagechallenge/, are especially appropriate for Transition Year students, but also all junior and senior cycle level
students.
