Greetings from the jcc@333 Co-Chairs
Dear Friends,
We are so grateful you could join us this evening for JCC@333, JCC
Greater Boston’s largest annual fundraising event. Whether this is your
first time attending JCC@333 or you have been supporting our work for
years, tonight will truly be like no other. This evening, we pay tribute to
one of the most memorable and treasured experiences a child can
have: attending summer camp. In addition, we have the privilege to
honor JCC’s Past Board Chair, Louis Grossman.
For decades, JCC camps have provided kids of all ages with a supportive
outlet to try new things, meet new people, and create friendships,
memories, and skills that last a lifetime. For so many, camp becomes
a second home, where friends are like family, and where Jewish
identities are formed.
The magic that happens at our JCC camps, whether it’s Camp Grossman,
Camp Kaleidoscope, Tennis Camp, Sports Camp, or Swim Camp, goes
far beyond each individual summer. The love of camp has been passed
down through generations for more than three decades and counting.
Every year, dozens of our campers return as staff, and members of our
amazing staff return for their 15th, 20th, or even 40th summer.
Tonight you’ll hear directly from campers, staff members, and families
whose lives have been touched by JCC camps. They represent a fraction
of the thousands of individuals who have shared a transformative
summer experience through the JCC thanks to the generous and
continued support of our exceptional community.
Every summer brings excitement, fun, growth, and connection to
hundreds of campers across Greater Boston. We thank you for joining
us tonight to celebrate Louis and ensure future campers and their
families can experience the joy of JCC camps for years to come.
With sincerest gratitude,
Dara and David Grossman, Liz and Jake Grossman,
Michelle Vichot and Josh Kraft, Suzy and Herb Tobin
