Transition Year and Leaving Certificate Classes
Polish as a Transition Year module and a new Senior Cycle curricular subject continued this year with an
increased number of schools.
In 2021, PPLI deployed 12 Polish qualified teachers in 25 schools.
Based on foundations laid in 2020, one school continued the provision of Polish as a new Leaving Cert
subject.
Supporting schools and teachers

Polish.

To support students who do not have access to the curriculum in their schools, PPLI offered Leaving
Certificate Saturday classes to 27 students in Cork and Galway.
