September 2021 and as a result the schools hired a part-time Romanian teacher to help students prepare for
the exam.
Saturday Classes and Online Essay Support
Saturday classes and online essay writing support is provided to students of Leaving Certificate Romanian. 23
students registered for online essay writing support whereby an e-teacher gave feedback on written work in
preparation for the Leaving Certificate.
School libraries
All post-primary schools with Romanian students had the opportunity to acquire Romanian books and other
materials via the PPLI School Library Funding Scheme. In addition, PPLI gave targeted support to one Dublin postprimary school with large numbers of Romanian students by enabling the school to acquire Romanian books.
