Personnel
Competencies for effective scheme management
Several competencies have been identified for the successful roll
out of the scheme. The following knowledge and experience will
be sought in the personnel to achieve the Alliance’s purpose:
• Compliance - knowledge / experience of quality assurance and
independent inspection systems.
• Technical - knowledge of biosecurity systems and the IPPC’s
ISPMs and their relation to the PHMS.
• Policy - knowledge of plant health policy to assist with the codesign the PHMS and fit with current and future regulations.
• Promotion - meet with applicants / members, write articles,
present, oversee campaigns to deliver the promotion plan.
• General business administration, fundraising and governance.
We will work with all Alliance members to recruit suitable
personnel to finance, develop and promote the Scheme.
