Diamond 9 activity
Give out 9 post-its to each table.
In groups, students now write one thing on each post-it note that they think will be important for them to
be successful in CLIL lessons, until they have 9 items.
While they are working on these ideas, click once to add the diamond 9 image. Once the students have
9 items, they should organise them into this diamond shape on their table according to the ones that are
most important to them.
When the discussions have finished and students have created their diamond 9, ask each group for top
priorities.
The class should negotiate which one should go into the top box, then the process continues until the
class diamond 9 has been completed. They could be written onto the projected diamond nine image on
the slide, or the relevant post-its could be taken and stuck on the board.
