Soaring to new heights
Following on from two fabulous sell out years, the Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop
is set to launch its flagship fundraising event bright and early for 2023.
The next in the series of the Wallop Wheels and Wings
events will take place on Saturday 1 July 2023 and
following on from feedback from previous years events,
will be bigger and better than ever, with a wide array of
activities to keep visitors and families busy throughout the
day.
The event will again feature a wide array of classic and
super cars, motor bikes and aircraft, to please enthusiasts
of all vehicles. Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll
around the historic Army Air Corps airfield to chat with
the pilots attending the event and, in some instances,
even sit in the aircraft.
For non-enthusiasts, there will be the opportunity to
browse the artisan trader village, with over 40 stalls selling
a wide range of arts, crafts, food and drink, including a return to the event from Hampshire Fare, who will be in attendance celebrating the start of the Hampshire Food
Festival.

A live music stage will keep visitors entertained, providing
a lovely back drop to the event and this year will see the
added introduction of a display arena, with a fun
programme of entertainment throughout the day.
Activities for families and children will be in abundance,
with the introduction of fairground rides and inflatables,
pedal planes, mini tanks, face painting and lots of craft
and interactive activities to keep little ones busy throughout the day.
Chief Executive of the Army Flying Museum Lucy
