on what we can provide and hopefully we will have this
offer taken up and we can start to reinvest some of the
profit back into the community.
Please spread the word so that we can support more individuals and more community groups through conserving
and training but mainly through connecting conservation.
We are in a good position in that we are a new company
and a CIC which means there is less restraint in how we
want to develop, so we can be more forward thinking.
One of our recent project undertakings is to develop a
process that will enable Connect’s conservation reports
to be stored and shared with other organisations. There
will be a central, managed digital repository that will hold
these records. This is pilot study to see how we as a conservation business can manage our records and if this
works for us, then it is probable that other institutions
could benefit from sharing their records and accessing
other records too.
