Years 11 and 12 subjects: Study of Religion, English,
Mathematical Methods, Modern History, Physics and
Specialist Maths
Favourite subject: Mathematical Methods
Study Tip: Make a weekly planner to keep track of your
workload and create a routine for yourself. I found it very
useful to assign a different subject to each day of the week,
which ensured I covered at least a little of every subject
every week
Advice to students starting Year 11 and 12: Work hard
to receive as many marks as possible in your internal
assessments. During externals, the stress of having enough
marks to pass your subjects and achieve the ATAR you need
is lessened
Leadership Position: Volleyball Captain
Co-Curricular Activities: SPARC, St Vincent de Paul and
Volleyball
Years 11 and 12 subjects: Study of Religion, Accounting,
Business, Chemistry, English and Mathematical Methods
Favourite subject: Chemistry
Study Tip: Keep seeking feedback and re-editing work
Advice to students starting Year 11 and 12: Find balance in
your life while still prioritising school work
Leadership Position: D’Arcy Academic Leader
Favourite Memory at LHC: Lourdes Hill College Formal
Years 11 and 12 subjects: Study of Religion, Business, English,
Geography, Legal Studies and Mathematical Methods
Favourite subject: Legal Studies
Study Tip: Start assignments as soon as possible (even if it’s
just researching) and create realistic study goals which can
be achieved each night
Advice to students starting Year 11 and 12: Trust that it will all
work out and come together in the end.
Co-Curricular Activities: Basketball
Favourite Memory at LHC: Spending time with my friends in
class and at lunchtime
Future Hopes: Once I finish my degree I hope to work in a law
firm which will give me valuable skills I can use to branch
into the field of Political Journalism. I would love to create
media that informs the public on important matters
