Increasing interest in information about the
pension scheme
The previous years’ increase in members’
interest in monitoring their pension savings on
digital channels continued in 2022. With almost
1.7 million sessions on the web and the app,
2022 set a record for members searching for
information about their pension scheme.
Industriens Pension was lauded as the best
digital pension company in 2022, for the second
consecutive year. Focus on developing and
maintaining digital solutions for members and
member companies is always just as sharp as
focus on providing a good personal telephone
service.
Very short waiting times to get an advisor on the
line is still an important element of customer
service. Perhaps this is why Industriens Pension
was also complemented as the undertaking with
the best customer service across all sectors and
not just in the pension sector. More than 115,000
incoming telephone calls were answered by
Member and Company Services during the year.
Danish Insurance Complaints Board
Industriens Pension is a member of the Danish
Insurance Complaints Board, which takes the
place of the Consumer Complaints Board in the
insurance area. In 2022, there were 20
complaints against Industriens Pension. This is
12 complaints more than in 2021, and it is
historically a relatively high number of
complaints.
The Danish Insurance Complaints Board settled
21 cases, and decisions by Industriens Pension
were upheld in 18 of these.
