We continue to develop and expand our plant-based meal options to
enable our customers to make more sustainable food choices as a key
element of our roadmap to net zero.

Sodexo has joined the Climate Group’s RE100 initiative, in line with its
commitment to switching to 100% renewable electricity by 2025 at its
directly operated sites. RE100 is a global initiative bringing together
the world’s most influential companies leading the transition to 100%
renewable electricity.
We are on track to meet this
target by 2025.
We take every opportunity to champion sustainable resource usage and
showcase how a focus on waste has no detrimental impact on taste. This
year we hosted our Stop Hunger Foundation fundraising dinner at one of
our Sodexo Live! client venues, which enabled us to deliver that message
through our menu. Canapes were made from ingredients leftover from
the main menu that would have otherwise gone to waste, and starters
were plant-based. All courses used ‘wonky’ or surplus veg from our
Wasteful to Tasteful initiative. We sourced beetroot through the
Sodexo Live! regenerative farming partner, Full Circle Farms, in Sussex.
