Reorders are a small post it notes that lets your
customer know when you are delivering their orders.
They are filled in with the delivery day and amount
due, attached to a catalogue and left with the
customer until you make your delivery.

It does two things...
1. It lets your customer know when you are going
to deliver so they are in and have the money
ready for you. If they cannot be in, they will
usually let you know and make alternative
arrangements for the delivery. They would not
be able to do this without knowing when you are
delivering in the first place.
2. It will generate you extra sales. Because your
catalogue has been with your customer a few
extra days it will give them a chance to read
it in their own time as well as show it to family
and neighbours which means you gain valuable
sales and earnings when you are making your
The easiest and most efficient way of doing it is to
do it while you pick up your catalogues because
you are already there. Using this method your
catalogues will always be with your customers and it
will save you having to go home and resetting them.
Before you go out to start collecting plan when
you will be processing the orders and start filling
out the ‘Dear Customer’ reorder notes but leaving
the ‘Value’ part blank. When you fill in the delivery
day and time remember that is now the day and
time you will deliver so make a note of this. A lot
of distributors will have one set day of the week for
delivering to their customers. This is a good habit to

Your customer now knows exactly when you will
deliver their order which is what they want.
In these times our customers are used to placing an
order and having an update on when the delivery
will be made and shopping through our catalogue is
no different, we must give them the level of service
they are used to and now expect and by doing this
your customer loyalty will increase as well as the
level of sales you get from your customer base.
