Creating the
right spaces for:
delivering the
best possible
support
We have worked hard to enhance the quality of
our services over the last five years during a period
in which we have also doubled our turnover. The
quality of support that we provide to people is the
foundation to our success and that of our people.
100% of our CQC-registered locations are rated
Good, and 50% have an Outstanding rating in
individual inspection domains.
Every year we celebrate the achievements of our
staff and people at the annual Star Awards. This year
we held the awards night at Reigate Manor for 120
people, and streamed the ceremony online for those
who couldn’t attend in person. There were nearly
200 nominations across the 14 award categories,
and some incredible winners demonstrating truly
aspiring endeavour!
We passionately believe that people we support
should be enabled to live ‘gloriously ordinary lives’.
Our teams have bought into this culture and share
examples each week of people doing things that
people without a disability would take for granted.
These range from the everyday – going shopping,
getting their haircut, cooking a meal – to the more
ambitious, such as Matt (a person we support)
organising a day trip to Brighton for 20 of his peers;
a group of people going on a canal barge holiday; or
John going on holiday to Ghana.
These included our Cheyne Walk team, who not only
won a Star Award for Most Transformative Team, but
also won the Supported Living Team of the Year at
the Surrey Care Awards.
