Additionally, in response to the Marshall
Fire, CEF joined forces with Boulder County
to support affected small businesses.
Almost $1.8 million was awarded to aid
employers in retaining and recruiting
talented personnel through the Colorado
Outdoor Recreation Industry Impact Fund
(ORIIF)*. The grant component of CEF’s
CSLF* awarded $348K to 58 recipients.
*These two grants have awarded funds, but
waiting on receipts to disburse full amount.

Care and
Learning Equity
(CIRCLE) Grant
aimed to strengthen
the landscape of early childhood services.
While the funds were disbursed through
Early Milestones (therefore not included in
our total grant disbursement amount),
CEF handled all administrative aspects
and claims reviews totaling $22.5 million
to 218 grantees in 2022-2023.

In FY23, CEF diligently managed multiple
grant programs, collaborating with various
agencies to disburse funds effectively.
Notably, CEF partnered with OEDIT on
three different grants through their Small
Business Accelerated Growth program
injecting $522K to stimulate small
businesses.
