Looking Forward to FY24
As Colorado Enterprise Fund pushes forward into FY24, we
have many engaging opportunities ahead on the horizon!
Latino/Hispanic Loan Program: BMO is partnering with CEF to create the
Latino Business Loan Program to help reduce barriers and support inclusive
economic opportunity for small businesses. With the $500K investment by
BMO, CEF will continue to provide capital to underserved communities and
can focus more economic and educational resources toward Latino/Hispanic
entrepreneurs in Colorado.
New Market Tax Credits (NMTC): In FY23, CEF was awarded $60 Million in
NMTCs from the Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.
These will be used to support projects that create impact, community
development, and economic growth in underserved communities.
SBA 7A / Community Advantage: In FY23, CEF made a concerted
effort to utilize the Community Advantage program to help small
businesses. Lessons learned will help us forge forward in FY24 to
boost the number of large loans to support small business
entrepreneurs.
