Linking ledgers
In PerNetFlow, the ledger for a bill (that is
not paid with a credit card) or a credit card
can be linked to a sinking fund or savings
ledger. Money that is set aside to the ledger
of a linked sinking fund or savings will be
deducted automatically to help make
payments for the linked bill or credit card.
When a payment is made to a linked bill or
credit card, money for the payment is
deducted from the:
1. Bill or credit card's ledger
2. Linked sinking fund or saving ledger (if more money is needed for the payment)
3. Unallocated ledger (if more money is needed for the payment)
Set-asides
A set-aside in PerNetFlow is the movement of money from the Unallocated ledger for your
future weekly allowance or to a sinking fund or savings ledger. The money that is set aside stays
in your checking account.
Money is set aside to the allowance ledger automatically when you pay bills. Setting aside
money to a sinking fund or savings ledger happens:
● automatically as a part of paying bills;
● manually with the Move Money or Consolidate Money features.
