The Lambda Phi Chapter has been very influential in its development of the Renaissance T.E.A.M. The
Mission of Omega Renaissance T.E.A2.M. (Talented Educated African American Men) is to provide young
African American young men, between the ages of 11 and 14, an opportunity to participate in a
comprehensive educational, scholarship, community service, leadership training, social and spiritual
experience that prepares them for a leadership role and productive service in our community.
The Lambda Phi Chapter has also been a beacon in the community by visiting the Southfield Elementary
School in an effort to read to the students as a way of promoting the importance of having an education.
The Lambda Phi Chapter continues to serve others in the community by hosting the Dr. D.T. Walton Jr.
Feed the Hungry Homeless Program. In this program the Brothers assist with food, clothes/shoes drive,
toiletries, haircuts, counseling, and health care support.
The Lambda Phi Chapter continues to serve others through its health care initiatives. The chapter hosts
a health fair each year at the Ebenezer Baptist Church in Macon, Georgia.
The Dr. D.T. Walton, Jr. Foundation and Motivating Youth Organization partner with the Lambda Phi
Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity annually to recognize the scholastic achievement of high school
seniors in the Middle Georgia area.
The Lambda Phi Chapter continues to serve the community in other program such as the annual
Thanksgiving Basket giveaways, and the Easter Egg Hunt.
Omega has built a strong and effective force of men dedicated to its cardinal principles of manhood,
scholarship, perseverance, and uplift.
