UniSA 2021 Donor Impact Report - Flipbook - Page 19
“We are very proud to play a
part in enabling a student
from a refugee background to
attend UniSA in the hope that
they will be able to benefit in
the same way that we have
from the transformational
experience provided by
tertiary education.”
Terri and Paul Finn
Previous grant recipient,
Zaman Mohammadi
In 2021, together with his wife Robin – who
was involved in social work, community
development and original research in
local history – they established a named
grant to assist financially disadvantaged
undergraduate students from a refugee
background who demonstrate financial need.
Their son, Dr David Radford, Senior Lecturer
(Sociology) and Research Degree Coordinator
at UniSA, also contributes towards the family
named grant through the UniSA Workplace
Giving program. He is one of the many
staff members who believe in the power of
education and research at the University.
The Radford’s philanthropy as a family
highlights their commitment to change and
making a difference to the lives of others.
