Julie Brownell dedicated her career as a teacher,
librarian and social worker. Julie has generously
supported Professor Shudong Wang’s research on
treatments for chronic lymphocytic leukemia for many
years.
Digital painter and print maker Andrea Num Glover
generously supported cancer research, research
into chronic pain after cancer treatment, and drug
development to treat RNA viruses.
Vicki and Brett Tomlinson
Vicki Tomlinson, management consultant and former
Director Corporate Services for the Independent
Commissioner Against Corruption; and business owner
Brett Tomlinson have each committed a bequest
to UniSA in support of high achieving, financially
disadvantaged students studying in the field of health
sciences.
Suzanne Caragianis
Suzanne Caragianis, an Occupational Therapist
specialising in hand therapy, has committed a bequest
to support scholarships for international students
from Bhutan and Nepal studying post-graduate
Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy.
Frank and Kathy Seeley
Frank Seeley AM and Kathy Seeley, founders of Seeley
International, are long-time supporters of UniSA’s
endowed Chair in Child Protection, helping to protect
and transform the lives of vulnerable children. They
also generously support the University’s Visiting
Research Fellowships program.
Emeritus Professor Ian Davey and Pene Davey
Emeritus Professor Ian Davey, former UniSA Pro
Vice Chancellor and Vice President: Research and
Innovation, and Pene Davey, former TAFE Director, have
generously supported UniSA over many years through
student scholarships, the Bob Hawke Prime Ministerial
Centre, and the Ian Davey Research Thesis Prize.
Dr Alice McCleary and Peter Murchland
Former UniSA Deputy Chancellor Dr Alice McCleary and
business consultant Peter Murchland have established
a Research Fellowship to honour Peter’s daughter Ruth
Murchland, who passed away from breast and brain
cancer in 2020 aged 39.
The Honourable John Hill and Dr Andrea Dale
Pauline Carr and Vicki Tomlinson
The Honourable John Hill, former UniSA Deputy
Chancellor and Minister in the State Parliament, and
visual artist and teacher Dr Andrea Dale created the
Mavis and Moira Scholarship. Named to honour their
mothers, the scholarship supports outstanding female
students in social work and psychology programs, with
a demonstrated interest in child protection and helping
at risk babies and children.
