ALLEN FAIRVIEW CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
It is a great honor to be chosen to serve as Chair of the Allen Fairview Chamber of Commerce for 2023. Having
served as Chair-elect in 2022 and as a member of the executive committee prior to then, I have witnessed
the leadership of both our CEO and her staff as well as that of the board of directors. All are dedicated to
improving the benefits and programs that we offer to our members.
Our Board held our annual planning retreat in December and had the opportunity to see the staff’s presentation
on our successes for 2022 and goals for 2023 along with their plans on how to accomplish. I was impressed with
the thought and optimism that went into the development of our 2023 programming. They have not only added value to your membership
but are pushing themselves to be even better and our chamber more successful. The Board role was to review, identify other
opportunities and to make suggestions on how to accomplish some of the goals that were set, by agreeing to assist in making those goals a
reality.
This document details the success from 2022 and the program of work for 2023. We look forward to continuing to provide our members
with enhanced programming that will help them in building their business base, increasing their exposure within our communities, and in
being more engaged in our educational and advocacy efforts that result in success for our members, our communities and our chamber.
We are all excited about the possibilities that 2023 can bring. Wishing you a prosperous 2023!
