It has been an extraordinary and busy start to 2020;
one that will prompt many to pause and reflect for
years to come. What we have communicated to
our community, how we have communicated and
the methods by which we have communicated have
been quite different from years gone by. Our daily
lives and working situations have shifted, with many
people working from home, out of work, or facing an
uncertain work situation.
your communities, locally and globally. Generation
after generation you have lived lives of meaning and
impact enriched by the Mercy traditions and values
of Catherine McAuley.
Our community has suffered, and our community has
come together, assisting those who have needed a
lift, a laugh or a supporting hand. The AHSisterhood
is strong and collaborative, supportive and resilient.
In an ideal world, every girl would have an All
Hallows’ education.
As a past pupil of All Hallows’ in a position to look
back and reflect on your time here, can you imagine
how different your final school days would have
been in if you’d had to learn from home, away from
friends, dealing with cancelled events, trips, camps
and milestones?
Throughout this troubling period All Hallows’ has
strived to maintain exceptional and innovative
educational opportunities for our students. Our
AHSisters have risen to the challenge in true All
Hallows’ style and we’ve been able to see a glimpse
of the successful, caring and driven alumni they will
become.
Generation after generation, you, our Past Pupils
have achieved amazing things in your academic,
cultural and sporting endeavours. Generation after
generation you have contributed significantly to

The Hallowian | 2019
Being an All Hallows’ girl is like a lifetime
membership to a sisterhood that nurtures you,
embraces you and encourages you to be the very
best version of yourself.
But our world is far from ideal – which is why your
financial gift could be so important right now.
Please think about contributing to
the Catherine McAuley Bursary
In these times of uncertainty when families and
livelihoods are under so much pressure, your gift to
the Catherine McAuley Bursary could help a current
student and her family in need or give a future student
access to an education that could genuinely change
her life and future.
We ask you to take a few minutes and visit our
website. You can make the difference, right here,
right now.
