WHAT’S ON
Milestone year reunions groups,
click here for an easy guide to
organising your reunion event.
We invite and encourage you to join us
at our events and regular Committee
meetings. Following are key dates for
you to enter in your calendar now.
Step One: Claim The Date
In 2022, there will be just one day when milestone reunion groups can gather on-site at All
Hallows’.
We call it Reunion Day, and it’s on Saturday October 29. There will be Mass at 9:30am, Morning Tea,
merchandise to buy, guided and/or self-guided tours and professional photography.
It is a good idea to share that date now with your cohort and start planning as early as possible.

October 10 – PPA Meeting
October 29 – Reunion Day, Annual Mass and Morning Tea

Reunion
Step Two: Put Your Hand Up
With multiple reunions taking place on Reunion Day, much of the on-site organisation has been taken
over by the Past Pupils’ Association (PPA), so you will only need a few people or a small group to update
your contact list, send out communications, and manage the after-event if you choose to have one.
Step Three: Search, Find, Contact
For a copy of your class list, please contact ppa@ahs.qld.edu.au
This data may not be current or conclusive so start spreading the word via Facebook and social media.
The PPA has a Facebook page and we are happy to post a call out for you. It is also a good idea to create
your own Class of … page and to encourage members to share messages with their respective groups
and contacts. We can also put messages in the School newsletter and on the website.
After the event, please send a copy of your final list to ppa@ahs.qld.edu.au so we can update our
records and make the task easier next time!
Step Four: Please Register
To register your Class of any year that ends in a 2 for Reunion Day, email ppa@ahs.qld.edu.au

Attending Mass is not mandatory, but all are welcome. It will be a beautiful Sisterhood experience to
share. Should numbers exceed the Chapel’s capacity we will also stream the event to another venue onsite. There is no cost to attend the Mass. The traditional (but re-imagined) Past Pupils’ Morning Tea will
be held after the Mass. This is a paid event, and is optional. Some milestone groups choose to use this
as their ‘celebration’ and do not venture off-site.
Registrations for Mass and Morning Tea will open in July. For more details email ppa@ahs.qld.edu.au
Step Five: Book Your Afterparty
With multiple groups looking to do lunch or drinks off-site that day, check out your options and place a
booking as soon as you can.
When choosing a venue, consider cost and accessibility.
Alternately, choose a venue where everyone can pay their own way. Keeping the financial and
organisational management to a minimum makes a more enjoyable experience for all.
As a thought starter, following is a list of suggestions close to AHS:
