It has always disturbed me that Christmas, the day that
is supposed to be a sacred celebration of the birth of Jesus,
has turned into a commercial carnival. I realize people love to
give each other gifts, but I’m sure most will agree that holiday
spending has gone way past the point of insanity.
It wasn’t until I began to learn that Jesus is just another
type of pagan god that ruled spiritual mythology back in
ancient times did I understand why Christmas has become so
corrupted.
At its core, Christianity is built on a shaky foundation,
taking its cue from paganism and other mystery religions that
emerged in the early days of civilization. We know from
Tanakh that God forbade people from taking part in these
types of practices.
“You must not worship the Lord your God in their (the
pagans) way, because in worshiping their gods, they do
all kinds of detestable things the Lord hates. They even
burn their sons and daughters in the fire as sacrifices to
their gods.” Deuteronomy 29:31
It’s not surprising that Christianity, which raised up a false
God who it claims is equal to the Creator, has sowed seeds of
corruption in everything associated with it.
I would bet that a large majority of Christians are completely
unaware that Jesus allegedly had a lot in common with
numerous Egyptian gods of the ancient world, including
Horus, Mithras, Dionysus, Osiris and Adonis, to name a few.
Like Christ, some scholars claim they all had some sort of
