BARABBAS’ CRIMES IN QUESTION
Luke says: But they all cried out together, ‘Away with this
man, and release to us Barabbas’– a man who had been
thrown into prison for an insurrection started in the city and
for murder.” Luke 23:18-19
John says: “They cried out again, “Not this man, but
Barabbas!” Now Barabbas was a robber.” John 18:40

Matthew says: “And behold, there was a great earthquake, for
an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and
rolled back the stone and sat on it. His appearance was like
lightning, and his clothing white as snow. And for fear of him
the guards trembled and became like dead men.” Matthew

“Mark says: “And entering the tomb, they saw a young man
sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe, and they

the body of Jesus had lain, one at the head and one at the
