Jesus: Messiah or Myth? - Book - Page 36
Mithraic rituals served up the body and blood of the sacrifice.
Those who ate gained everlasting life.
Mithras also resurrected from the dead and was born
during the Winter Solstice, just like Jesus.
I realize for some all of this information might be hard
to digest. But it’s important to not to ignore it because the
truth is, there is just too much mounting evidence Christianity
is a man-made religion.
Obviously we cannot know exactly how things went
down when the whole Christian movement started but the
history books tell us many of the details. The stories about
Constantine and his reign have been documented, as well as
validated by professors, researchers and highly educated
historical scholars.
We have to face facts that leaders in power typically
will stop at nothing to maintain control over the masses.
Constantine clearly felt no shame in exerting his authority and
really, who was going to be foolish enough to question him?
When you look at some of the differences between
Christianity and Judaism, you learn that the Jews never
concocted stories about how God was going to send someone
to Hell for not complying with the faith. They’ve never set out
to convert people in order to save them from eternal
damnation.
Instead, the Lord’s Chosen Ones quietly practice their
religion and worry about getting right with God for the benefit
of their own souls, which they know are at stake without the
forgiving grace of God.
