Jesus: Messiah or Myth? - Book - Page 45
to His people on His behalf so there’d be no question about
His vision for the world, His promises for redemption and
what He expected from His children.
All the big, important stuff is pretty cut and dry in
Tanakh and makes so much sense. We see a Creator who is
honest, just and kind yet at the same time, all-powerful, allknowing, unwavering, sovereign and set on making certain
His will is done at every turn through the humans he
created. And forgiveness is always just a confession away.
“I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for
my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”
Isaiah 43:25
How can one read these words and not recognize the
Jesus narrative as a lie? Billions upon billions have put their
faith in an unjust, lying, wannabe deity, who claims people
can only receive his saving grace by acknowledging he was
savagely murdered for their benefit.
Yet we know this is untrue because Tanakh states
unequivocally that no person can die for another person’s
sins (Deuteronomy 2:16). Cross-reference this verse with
Numbers 23:19 where the Lord says He does not change his
mind and you will know for sure the Jesus story is fake.
“Fathers shall not be put to death for their children,
nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a
person shall be put to death for his own sin.”
Deuteronomy 24:16
