Jesus: Messiah or Myth? - Book - Page 6
parents, who succeeded at brainwashing their eldest son into
believing Jesus was the Way, the Truth and the Life, period,
end of story.
So I quietly continued on seeking more knowledge and
more truth about the God who gave me life and the mind to
ask questions until I came up with the right answers.
Steve passed away in 2019 from a rare blood disease.
During his eight-month illness, a great love and passion for
Israel and the Jewish people began to spring forth from my
being. I had no idea why this was happening but it inspired
me to start learning about the Jewish faith and also how
God’s chosen people were going to fit into the end times
scenario Christianity promotes.
I was quite well-versed on the Book of Revelation, so it
proved to be extremely difficult for me to factor the Jews
into this apocalyptic horror show. And because of my highly
intuitive gifts, I somehow knew humanity was headed into a
new age of time when the world would be restored to a sort
of Garden of Eden-like place.
I later found out this is exactly what it says in the
Hebrew Scriptures (Tanakh), which was just one more thing
that confirmed I was being led down the right path.
After Steve died, I was tempted to join a messianic
church which is basically a place where a bunch of Christians
and wayward Jews get together and worship Jesus all the
while pretending to be faithful to the Tanakh.
Thankfully, I never followed through on that, as much
of my time was taken up trying to build a new life.
