HEALTH & SAFETY
We take your health very seriously.
To that end, we’ve enacted enhanced safety practices for guests, staff, volunteers
and artists to protect from COVID-19 and Delta Variant. Moving forward, we’ll
require proof of vaccination or negative Coronavirus test or antigen test for all
audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theatre staff and
volunteers, at all in-person performances.
President & CEO, Todd Fogdall says: “Our audience members are ready to return
to the theater and the very human experience of sharing performance experiences
together. The way we can come together is by taking the individual steps and
precautions required for personal health and safety. When we do so, we protect
ourselves and the health and safety of those around us. We invite the community
to join us at the theater and in the shared effort to end the pandemic.”
The Appell Center will continually monitor the situation with guidance from the
CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health requirements. All are encouraged to
regularly visit AppellCenter.org for up-to-date information, as well as a detailed
summary of the new policy, a list of Frequently Asked Questions and instructions
for vaccination pre-checking on the day of a performance.
