The choice dilemma.
Choice leads to confusion or dilemma.
The human mind has a binary thought, too many options
confuse us and leads to indecision.
It is many times better to choose from as minimal option as
possible.
Apple is a great example of minimum choices of products and
maximum clarity of users along with their loyalty.
I am today working for a mattress company, Frequently folks
ask me suggestions, as they go to the showroom and get
confused - they have two dozen options.
The advisor in shop gives an overview of all his display and
confusing the consumer. This is common across consumerism. I
have learnt to normally give two recommendation only for
people who ask my advice. This simplifies options and brings
clarity.
Spoilt for choice may sound sexy' but delays consumer response
or even postpone a purchase for a long time. This is true for us
in life, give limited options after thought to our colleagues,
friends, vendors and customers. Choosing from limited options
is quick, efficient and cascades productivity.
