IN FOCUS
THE TALENTS AND SKILLS OF OUR EDENITES
Autism Awareness Month at Science Centre
Throughout the month of April, artworks from our alumni, Zong
Xian, were exhibited at the Science Centre as part of their World
Autism Awareness Month campaign.
Zong Xian has a talent for drawing feminine faces, and his portraits
are characterised graphically with the use of vibrant colours. It
was a day of joy during the exhibition launch as Zong Xian’s family
graced the occasion and beamed with pride at his achievement.
Waves of Wellness with Princess Elizabeth Primary School
“Waves of Wellness” is a 3-Year collaboration between Eden School
and Princess Elizabeth Primary School (PEPS). It is a community
partnering opportunity for students to showcase their creations,
art-making skills and interpretation of the selected theme.

The exhibition seeks to inspire and spark conversations about
mental health and wellbeing in our community. Within the
theme, the four focus areas are ‘Mind’, ‘Body’, ‘Emotions’ and
‘Relationships’. This year’s art exhibition held at PEPS showcases
works of art on ‘Body’ and ‘Emotions’.
Eden School students created art works that represented their
unique interpretation of health and wellness. PEPS’ students delved
into communicating feelings. Selected artworks were displayed at
the exhibition from 15 to 26 May.
Autism Links
On 15 May, a group of students were invited to the opening of
the exhibition at PEPS. There was a gallery tour, artist statement
sharing and interaction in the space. Certificates of Appreciation
were presented to the students by Eden School Vice Principal Mr
Stanley Chan and PEPS Principal Mr Buktha Seela.
The school and centres will continue to nurture the potential of
our students, clients and alumni in various domains, and source for
opportunities to feature their talents and abilities.
