Resumption of Group Outing at Polliwogs
After a three year hiatus, the Eden Children’s Centre resumed
their big group outing to Polliwogs @ Clark Quay Central in March.
Caregiver participation plays a crucial role, and these outings are
one way to help parents in learning how to support their children
outside the Centre.
bouncy nets for jumping and several mega slides. For those who
preferred a slower paced activity, there was a special zone with
mini slides and a ball pit.
Our Early Intervention Teachers were stationed at different areas
throughout the outing to support the children and parents, whether
it was engaging in play or building skills. After an hour of playtime,
all the teachers and families gathered at the café area where the
children had their snacks and drinks, while parents took a break.
The indoor playground at Polliwogs is a safe space for our
children to have fun and engage with peers through play. It creates
opportunities for quality and fun bonding time between caregivers,
teachers and the children.
The outing ended on a positive note, with parents expressing their
anticipation for more term outings in the future.
