MOE’s Our Schools, Our Stories Contest 2023
Ministry of Education’s “Our Schools, Our Stories” contest
encourages participants to capture their school life creatively and
share experiences that have become priceless moments.
courage to dare to venture out and remind us that some boundaries
are not set by their impairments, but by what we believe they can
achieve.
This year, MOE introduced a new theme, “World of Possibilities,”
inviting participants to showcase how going to school unlocks
limitless opportunities for personal growth and development.
With enduring support from parents, educators, coaches and an
inclusive community, our students’ world greatly opens up. Join
us in celebrating their victories as they engage in co-curricular
activities, go out for fun community outings, and train up their skills
at the worksites. Every effort to try is monumental, and time and
time again, they inspire us to keep on believing.”
Despite not making it through the contest, here is our autism
therapists’ story in a World of Possibilities through their lens!
“Autism and intellectual disability can be profoundly isolating
conditions. Yet, our students constantly challenge us to expand
our understanding of all that is possible for them. They give us the
