Children’s Day Celebrations 2023
For this year’s Children’s Day celebrations in Eden School, our
senior students had an exciting day interacting with the Singapore
Armed Forces (SAF) and Singapore Police Force (SPF) personnel.
From donning on gears to trying ration packs, they also got an upclose look at the heroes who keep us safe.
The junior students had a blast in the school hall with two vibrant
bouncy castles sponsored by TNT Surveillance. The SAF men in
their gear also paid a visit to the junior classes.
Thank you SAF, SPF and TNT Surveillance for coming on board to
support this event through sponsorship and volunteering.

Eden Children’s Centre Outing to River Wonders
On 29 and 30 August, Eden Children’s Centre (ECC) organised
a Term 3 outing to River Wonders. ECC strongly encourages all
children to attend these outings as they provide an opportunity
to discover new things and practice skills learned in community
settings.
Our journey took us from Congo River to Mekong River, with
parents actively participating in activities assigned by teachers to
practice with their child’s skills. After their hard work during these
activities, families enjoyed a leisurely walk through the Giant Panda
Forest, learned about fascinating animals at the Animal Show, and
visited the Manatee Enclosure.

During such outings, parents will be accompanying their child as
part of the parent’s participation programme. This also serves as
an opportunity to foster parent-child bonding as well as to engage
with their child using skills practiced in class.

We concluded our River Wonders journey with a visit to the
Souvenir Shop, where some purchased plush toys and gifts.
