ACTIVITIES & VOLUNTEERISM
Staff Learning Day 2020
Eden School has an annual “Staff Learning Day”, during which all
staff gather to learn from one another in person better, besides
through work. Usually, this involves various forms of education
and technical training. But for this year’s Staff Learning Day, our
staff had a chance to experience a different form of learning.

creative cake within one hour.
As the clock started ticking, team members brainstormed, planned
and sprung into action. After an hour, each cluster managed to
produce their own masterpiece, and shared the concept behind
the design of their cake. The staff who took part in this Learning
Day agreed that “as a group and as an organisation, we work
together, grow together and make an impact on the lives of our
students and clients”.
On 24 January 2020, Eden School organised a mini Master Chef
Eden Cake Design Challenge, as a team-bonding activity for
reinforcing organisational culture, values and teamwork. Staff were
split into different clusters, and each cluster was given a Mystery

Box of Love
Last Christmas, Eden Children’s Centre was given a lovely surprise
for our children. As the host of the Box of Love Christmas
campaign, Timberland Singapore used recycled Timberland
shoeboxes and beautiful ribbons to create gifts that were delivered
to the centre on 26 November 2019.

Each gift box was personalised for the children, and distributed
to them when the centre started a new term in January 2020.
Our clients received the gifts with much joy, and we managed to
capture their big smiles in photos.
