Look As Young
AS YOU FEEL
ANTI-AGING
Q&A
Learn about your options for
achieving more youthful skin.
Ask the Expert:
Q: What is your approach to cosmetic surgery?
A: At the initial visit, I let the patient guide me with
their concerns and we then discuss the options
available, ranging from less invasive to more
invasive. I only offer treatments that I believe are
going to give patients the result that they want.

Assistant Professor
and Facial Plastic &
Reconstructive Surgeon
Q: Which anti-aging treatments should
someone start with?
A: A combination of gentle Botox® and skin
rejuvenation with broad band light (BBL) usually
gives the one-two punch many people are looking
for. Botox® softens wrinkles, while BBL addresses
surface redness and sun damage.

Q: How can patients avoid looking “overdone”?
A: That is where I come in! For patients new to
cosmetic surgery, I recommend starting with just
one treatment modality. I’ll see you back in a
couple weeks, and we can discuss our next steps.
I never want to talk a patient into a cosmetic
procedure. This process should be enjoyable and
help you feel your best.
Q: Is it ever “too late” to start implementing
anti-aging techniques?
A: It is never too late. Though, it is easier to
provide less invasive treatments while a patient’s
concerns are still mild. Those in their 50s and
60s who’ve received Botox® or peels for years
find that these treatments can delay or prevent
more invasive procedures later on.
