What is your role as a leader in ensuring Tenable is a
good place to work?
I try my best to be authentic at all times. That means
striving to be exceedingly transparent and a good
communicator and making that a point of emphasis
across the company. I also recognize that while I am
highly visible, I only play a part as a leader.
We also believe that it’s ultimately a joint responsibility for our leaders, and all of our people across Tenable,
to foster a strong workplace culture of transparency and
unity.
We can best meet the needs of our customers working as one team. We each play an active role in creating a
workplace that we are proud to share with others. Tenable is a mission-oriented company. The cybersecurity
work that we do matters. It’s important to our customers and the world. And that’s something we take very
seriously. It leads to a sense of dedication from our entire
team.
At Tenable, our leadership team has a “never stop
listening” mentality. We ask questions, listen with
purpose, act and ask again. Our team takes the time to
hear feedback from everyone, regardless of seniority,
and make decisions with our people top-of-mind, which
helps us build our unique people-first culture.
What employees say: He is honest, upfront, and tells us
what is going on. He is supportive, and generally cares
about the employees at Tenable. Great seeing him on the
football field too!
