One core value: All employees participate in
equity ownership of the company.
“Employees receive an ownership grant when
they join the company,” Horvath said. “And all
employees participate in our program of annual
performance-based equity grant awards. This is
an effective long-term incentive, rewards, and
retention program.”
Moreover, he touted the company’s “rich
benefits package” as one that allows each
employee to tailor it to their needs.
“The company allows me to have a good work
life balance and shares its success with me,” said
one employee.
That’s not all.
“Then we created an operating environment
that allows our employees to focus on what they
like to do — solve technical challenges for our
customers/clients,” Horvath said. “We also offer
a large and varied pool of interesting opportunities so that our technical team can select from
them to match the assignment to their interests
and career goals.”
To help keep morale high, Set of X hosts regular in-person meetings, as well as happy hours,
holiday parties, a summer picnic, golf outings
and more.
“The people I work with make my job fun,”
another employee said. “I want to come to work
again.”
Horvath said Set of X places a high value on
employees.
“We work hard to keep our people happy and
engaged to drive long-term retention,” Horvath
said.
Barsotti agreed, stressing the nexus of striving to provide “outstanding” service to clients,
while also making Set of X’s employee/owners
“feel appreciated” while they each make contributions.
“All of these things ultimately make the business stronger,” he said.
