Dave sketched a design that would remove the upper
rear section of the panel, essentially creating the
unibody truck form. Not stopping there, a stylish front
end was created from the traditionally bulky 58 truck
design and ideas for a more stylish tailgate area were
added. Finally, some performance styling cues were
added to make it a little more racy and a nod to Jim's
racing/performance background.
Fabrication, construction and further refining of the
design were then handed off to Dan Wickett and his
team at Hot Rod Construction.
