After hanging up his SCCA drivers suit, Jim found his need for speed on the Goodguys Autocross running a 68 Firebird along with his 500
horsepower small block powered 55 Chevy(“55 GTR”). Most recently he can be found in his Pro-Touring 1973 Trans Am.
Continuing his passion beyond the performance side of the sport, Jim began showing his 1955 Chevy 2 door Sedan “GTR”. He competed on
the ISCA indoor show car circuit winning National Class Championships and qualifying for multiple ISCA Championship Finals. In addition, the
Chevy was entered into the Goodguys Street Machine of the Year Competition. The 1955 Chevy was originally destined to be a ground
pounding performance machine, however when the form was just as impressive as the function Jim could not resist showing the final
product.
