THREE BLOCKS OF THE CAPITOL HILL
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING (circled below),
THAT PROVIDES A DEEPLY IMMERSIVE AND
PERSONALISED EXPERIENCE TO EXPLORE
THE HISTORY, NARRATIVE AND IMPACT OF
GOD'S OWN WORD, THE HOLY BIBLE.
On the History of the Bible Floor, within
the six-story building, every visitor can
discover the history of the Holy Scriptures
from the handwritten scrolls and innovative
mobile devices, as it was embraced by many
communities within different traditions.
Hundreds of artefacts document the Bible's
preservation, translation and transmission
across the centuries, including early papyrus
fragments of the New Testament, the De
Bochum Book of Hours and Psalter which is a
beautifully illuminated medieval manuscript,
along with several historical pages from the
Gutenberg Bible, the first-ever printed copy of
the Holy Writ.
On the Stories of the Bible landing,
visitors are invited to walk through the
content of the Hebrew Bible, and immerse
themselves in first-century Nazareth then
listen to the story of how the followers of
our Lord Jesus Christ became a thriving
community where the adventure and
drama of God's Holy
Book visually comes
to life through many
riveting presentations!
Its influence is further
explored throughout the
Impact of the Bible
floor in many familiar,
though often surprising
places, including arts,
science, government, education and even
culture, where one can also experience the
Holy Bible's dynamic presence through a
spectacular twenty-first century live feed of
global data.

CONVENTION OF MISSIONARY LEADERS
FROM OVER THIRTY -FOUR COUNTRIES , TO
LAUNCH AD 2020 AS THE G LOBAL Y EAR

The movement, which is a collaboration of
like-minded organisations, aimed to affirm
and promote the value of the Holy Book for all
people and for a call to end Bible poverty at a
time when over sixteen languages lack any
translation of the New and Old Testament.
It also sought to restore the significance
of the Holy Bible in traditionally Christian
western cultures where children are
increasingly growing
up without knowledge
of the Gospel or a
biblical worldview.
Organisers hope that
the Global Year of the
Bible will ultimately spur
momentum to make the
2020s the Decade of the
Bible and, according to
